Our green screen backgrounds are perfect for use in photography when you need to layer one image onto another image. With these backgrounds and some green screen software you will be able to chroma key on the green background of your image and replace it with a special effect of your choice. We have free standing and wall mount retractable background supporting systems available.
- Here are a few tips for using a green screen backdrop:
- Always use the most even light you can. you want the background to be as consistent in color as possible
- Make sure your subject is a few feet away from the green backdrop. It is possible for a color reflection to be cast on your subject and that can create problems in post production.
- Consider your lighting carefully as well, to help negate any possible reflection from behind. Back lighting the subject can be useful too.
- If your subject naturally has too many green hues, you may want to consider a blue screen.
- Last but not least, use a narrow focal point to give some "bokeh" or blur to the background. This can help with the evenness of color and prevent issues in color keying.
